For Immediate Release

In an effort to offset the loss of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic,

Lilley Cares Board of Directors is proud to announce all funds donated to Seven Steps Up through a GoFundMe page established by Gary and Michelle Hanks will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.00, now through June 28th, 2020. Further, a “Why Seven Steps Matters to Me” social media campaign will provide personal accounts of why this venue is important to The Village of Spring Lake. This includes businesses, locals, travelers, and musicians alike. Matching funds are provided by generous donations given to Lilley Cares through our members and members of the general public.

Lilley Cares considers Seven Steps Up to be a cultural cornerstone of The Village, and together with The Lilley Mansion, Windermere House, Epicurean Village, Stans Bar, and other businesses creates a thriving downtown corridor. The loss of Seven Steps Up would be detrimental to the overall economic and social atmosphere of our village.

Lilley Cares strives to engage in events that bring the community together to work toward a more beautiful and self-sustaining Village. We partner with existing and future Spring Lake charitable organizations to enrich community resources, utilizing our high level of visibility and network of community relationships to build a diverse volunteer force.

On May 8, 2020 at 4:00pm we will hold a press conference to discuss this giving campaign. We invite all local media and businesses to attend. Please call 786-493-6652 to reserve your place today.
